Pay It Forward

Many of you have played "pay it forward" but for those who have never heard of it, an explanation is necessary. The first three to comment on wanting to play, pledge to offer the "pay it forward" on their blog as well. In return for your comments I will send you each a handmade gift within the next year. Please, be sure to email me your snail mail address so I can send you your gift. I will be sending it sooner rather than later- not wanting to engage the forgetful realm. Thanks goes out to Barbara J. (who's blog I commented on) for paying it forward.

Pay It Forward rules: I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange (and email me their mailing address), and who make the same pledge on their own blogs.I don't know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! Where did you find that beautiful dragonfly below the frame on the previous post? My address is in the database at BAD. Thanks for posting. I have been having internet troubles, and haven't been able to get the blogs to load. So much for DSL-LOL!

OK, so I guess I want to play too. I had so much fun with the PIF that I would like to do it again. Especially your responses..WOW, talk about making someone feel good! You are such a dear. (I had to delete my first comment because I called you a deer instead of a dear!) Silly me.

Wow, a little posting goes a long way! i now have Aryd'ell, Barbara, and Heather on my list to pay it forward to. I am so excited-I have already begun! Velia wants to play too so I will point her to one of your blogs, so she can jump in.

I feel as if I am beginning again. However, I have so many things in place from when I really first began this creative journey. I am beginning again, but I am not starting from scratch. The trials of the past have given me perseverance I had not idea I possessed. It is a finalist!!!

The over the top Beaded Cogs Steampunk Style necklace I created for the Fashion Colorworks 2010 Beading Contest made it to the finals. You can go and rate the top ten from 1-5 here . Here are the fabulous photos my wonderful photographer (Thanks again BRAD!!!) took and while it was at his house his wonderful wife and president of the Dallas Bead Society got to prance around and wear it for the day. I told her she had to wear it for a whole day before she sent it home to me! He takes awesome photos!!! It wasn't the first time my beady friends have snagged it to wear for the day. One of them still claims it is a birthday gift that I haven't given to them yet. Thanks for stopping by!

I want to thank everyone for your kind comments on "Effy' whether here or by email. I also want to thank everyone who has been encouraging me to pursue the many facets of beading as an art and a business. Who would have thought one thing could be so fulfilling in so many different facets. The result of having such encouraging friends is the developement of my very first pattern and kit.
